DISTRICT HANDICRAFT COMPETITION

The District Handicraft Competition took place on Saturday 26th March.

We had a fantastic response with 760 entries (compared with 300 last year) and the variety and standard of the entries was amazing.  We filled 3 tables with the entries for the 'dream catcher' section alone.  The entries represented a lot of hard work by Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers over the winter months, and pennants were awarded   for 'Highly Commended' and 'Commended'  with points going towards the trophies.  The judging was carried out by two ADC's from Epping Forest District
