On Friday the 30th January the Harlow Cub Scout quiz night took place at the Snow Farm headquarters of the 1st Great Parndon.

7 teams took part and all had a great time. Lots of sweets were consumed by all. Nigel Apps was the Quiz Master and Colin Gilder wrote the questions and did the scoring.

Our thanks go to the Leaders from 1st GP who were particularly helpful with setting up the hall, doing the half time refreshments and manning the tuck shop.

Unfortunately 2 teams had to drop out because of sickness.

The teams who took part were:

7th Harlow A team
7th Harlow B team WINNERS with 78 points
1st GP A team
1st GP B team RUNNERS UP
3rd Roydon
21st Harlow
Leaders Team Who did quite well but were disappointing in their knowledge of the Teletubbies!

Winners got an individual certificate, a token for WH Smith each and fistful of sweets each
Runners up received individual sweets and a pack certificate
All other teams received pack certificate and pack of sweets to share

The WINNING team from the 7th Harlow Group is now going forward for the County Quiz on Saturday 13th March in Chelmsford.
