Although a bit later in the year than usual we managed to squeeze in The District Cub sports day. It was a lovely morning, dry and mild with even the sun popping through the clouds occasionally.

Plenty of cubs turned up to enjoy the traditional races, egg and spoon, skipping, obstacle, relay and even a tug of war ! The cubs had brought plenty of support with them too, leaders, parents, brothers and sisters. A great day was had by all. So much so the parents and leaders joined in the tug of war at the end with the children cheering us on.

The morning finished with the presentation of certificates and the winning trophy awarded to 2nd Great Parndon 'A' team. A full list of winners is printed below.
